Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Remember Their Paws respects your privacy. This policy explains the basic information we may collect when you visit this website or contact us.

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we may receive your name, email address, message, and any information, photographs, videos, or other materials you choose to share.

Website analytics and technical information

We use a self-hosted instance of Umami Analytics to understand general website activity, such as page views, referring websites, browser and device types, operating systems, and country-level location. Umami does not use cookies, does not track visitors across websites, and does not store personal information or IP addresses. Analytics data remains on infrastructure we control.

Our hosting provider may also automatically process standard technical information such as IP address, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs as necessary to operate and protect the website.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to inquiries, provide requested services, understand and improve the website, operate and secure the website, and communicate about a memorial project.

Pet photos and memorial content

Materials shared for a memorial remain personal to the customer. We do not claim ownership of customer-provided photographs, videos, stories, or other original content. Any future use of a completed memorial as a public example or promotional material will require appropriate permission.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the website or deliver a memorial, such as hosting, domain, email, storage, or payment providers.

Retention and requests

Information may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. To ask about your information, contact hello@remembertheirpaws.com.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the service develops. The date above will reflect the latest revision.

This initial policy is intended as a practical starting point and should be reviewed before paid services, payment processing, customer accounts, or additional data collection are launched.
